ModBoxes with a Variable Extinction Ratio: VER OPTION

Both Photline 28GB/s NRZ 850nm-Modbox and 28GB/s NRZ O-band Modbox have been reference turn-key transmitters for optical telecommunication laboratories and production test beds. These instruments which provide clean open eye diagrams with 20dB SNR, can integrate now the variable extinction ratio option: VER OPTION.. This unique feature allows users to set the ER between 3dB to 12dB for vertical eye closure, either manually or via computer interface. VER value can be adjusted within the 9dB range or chosen from standard values: 3-6- 9 or 12dB. View the data sheets HERE
