DFB Laser Drivers

QDLaser offers ns and ps Laser Driver boards for their DFB Laser diodes. The driver board can be used in CW mode or in a Pulsed mode. The driver board can be control via USB ports to set parameters such as driver current, pulse width, frequency repetition rate, etc. The options for the maximum drive current are either 200mA or a 2A. QDLaser’s Picosecond Gain-Switched boards produce either 50ps or 15ps pulse widths over a broad band of pulse repetition frequencies (ie. kHz to GHz). Pulse driver board to operate DFB/SOA in either picosecond or nanosecond are available.  Most parameters can be controlled by PC software via a USB interface. A single +5V power supply is required for the driver operation.
